Bamboo is a prime example of sustainability and environmental sustainability. During the extremely fast growth, the huge bamboo trees bind high amounts of CO2, producing more oxygen than most other plants.
Bamboo grows in tropical forests. The bamboo trunks grow from an underground root system and can be harvested after 5 years, while the rest continues to grow. Every year large quantities of bamboo trees can be felled without endangering or affecting the mother plant.
The Stabalux Bamboo facade system with a bamboo substructure stands for sustainability and ecology. By deliberately avoiding aluminum in the rebate area, as well as the use of extremely thin EPDM gaskets, in combination with bamboo profiles a maximum of environmental compatibility and thermal protection is achieved. At the same time, the façade system offers the best performance features of Stabalux systems. These include high watertightness according to DIN 18380, thermal protection at passive house level, tested clamping and T connections.
