The soundproofing of glass facades depends on a number of factors each of which has varying influences. Due to these complex interdependencies, simple solutions which are always applicable cannot always be formulated. Hence, the responsibility for selecting optimal designs for individual project lies with the experts. The varying combinations of frame sections, glazing strips and the type of soundproofing glass used influence the level of sound reduction to a great extent. The tests and measurements we have carried out only serve as examples for numerous possibilities and should be used for orientation purposes only.
